Kajima Corporation, the Japanese construction company with operations around the world has joined the buildingSMART Strategic Advisory Council (SAC), which provides guidance to the board on strategy and implementation.
‘We believe that digitisation within the industry is gathering pace and that the key enabling technologies developed by buildingSMART are critical to its future,’ said Hiroyoshi Koizumi, Representative Director & Executive Vice President of Kajima.

Kajima joins the existing membership of the Strategic Advisory Council, which in 2015 comprised Arup, Autodesk, HOK, and Nemetschek and Trimble. The council now draws members North America, Asia and Europe.
